Software Engineering

Custom software that fits your process instead of bending it

Custom software from discovery to operation. Fixed price after scoping, a Swiss point of contact, and the code and hosting stay with you.

The Starting Point

Where software initiatives in the DACH region fail

Rarely on technology. Almost always on capacity, scope clarity, or a legacy system that makes every change expensive.

The roadmap has stalled

Your team is consumed by operations and support. Features promised two quarters ago keep slipping — and your competitors keep shipping.

You can't hire fast enough

Senior engineers in Switzerland and across the DACH region are scarce and expensive. Roles stay open for months while product work waits.

Off-the-shelf doesn't fit

Your process is your competitive edge — but the standard product forces you to adapt to it. The Excel workaround has quietly become business-critical.

Quality is costing you trust

Every release brings regressions. Without automated tests, each change is a risk and each deployment an evening event.

The last vendor delivered distance

Timezone gaps, rotating contacts, status reports instead of substance. You wanted engineering capacity — not another ticketing system.

Dependency instead of ownership

Code you don't own, documentation that doesn't exist, a stack only one vendor understands. Switching costs more than the problem.

What We Deliver

Four focus areas, one engineering standard

From custom line-of-business applications to AI integration. Every focus area follows the same process, the same quality bar and the same Swiss-based point of contact.

Custom software development

Tailored web, mobile and enterprise applications for processes no standard product covers. We start from the business process, not the framework — and deliver in two-week sprints you can inspect at any time.

  • Web and enterprise applications (React, Next.js, Vue, Angular)
  • Mobile apps — cross-platform or native iOS and Android
  • MVP development: a first production version typically in 12–16 weeks
  • UI/UX design, accessibility and multilingual builds (DE/FR/IT/EN)
  • Integration with existing ERP, CRM and industry systems

React · Next.js · Angular · React Native · Flutter · Node.js · .NET · Java

SaaS product development

Multi-tenant platforms that hold from the first paying customer through scale. We build the commercial mechanics — subscription billing, usage metering, feature flags — in from the start instead of retrofitting them later.

  • Multi-tenant architecture with tenant isolation at the data layer
  • Subscription billing and usage metering (Stripe or in-house billing)
  • Feature flags, staged rollouts and A/B delivery
  • Self-service onboarding, role and permission model, audit log
  • Tenant data hosting with a Swiss or EU data-residency option

PostgreSQL · Redis · Stripe · Kubernetes · Terraform · OpenTelemetry

API & integration development

Interfaces that hold under load, and integrations that survive the other side's next release. Most relevant where a grown system landscape has to work with modern applications.

  • REST, GraphQL and gRPC APIs with versioned contracts
  • Microservices architecture with clear domain boundaries
  • Event-driven integration via Kafka, RabbitMQ or cloud queues
  • Connectors for SAP, Abacus, Bexio and other DACH-market systems
  • Middleware and data adapters for legacy systems without a modern API

REST · GraphQL · gRPC · Kafka · RabbitMQ · OpenAPI · Kong

AI & GenAI development

AI as a product capability, not a demo. We embed LLM features where they measurably remove work — with documented data lineage and an architecture that stays auditable under the EU AI Act and revDSG.

  • LLM integration into existing products and line-of-business applications
  • RAG pipelines over your own documents and data
  • Custom agents for multi-step workflows, with guardrails and approvals
  • Semantic search, classification and document processing
  • Runs in EU regions or inside your own environment — your choice

Our Approach

How we build custom software

A structured, transparent process from first conversation to production deployment. Every phase ends with something you can inspect — a document, a prototype, or running software.

Two-week sprintsWeekly demoFixed point of contactAutomated testingDocumented handover
01

Discovery & Scoping

We map requirements, define architecture boundaries and produce a delivery plan with clear milestones. The result: a scope both sides understand — with an honest range instead of a wish figure.

02

Architecture & Design

Technical architecture, data models, API contracts and UI wireframes are agreed before a line of code is written. Data residency and hosting location are decided here, not during operations.

03

Agile Build

Two-week sprints, daily stand-ups, weekly demos on a running application. Your Swiss-based contact leads the coordination; the engineering team delivers.

04

Testing & Launch

Automated test suites, staging environment, performance benchmarks and a zero-downtime production deployment. Handover includes documentation and an operations runbook.

Outcomes

What changes for you

In the language leadership and finance decide in — not in feature lists.

Predictable delivery

A fixed sprint rhythm with a weekly demo. You track progress in running software, not status reports — and spot deviations in weeks, not quarters.

Cost transparency in CHF and EUR

Fixed price for well-bounded work, a team rate for ongoing development. Monthly invoicing with a verifiable effort statement — no quarter-end surprises.

Capacity without hiring risk

You extend your engineering capacity without competing for scarce DACH-market talent — and can scale it back down when an initiative ends.

Lower operational risk

Automated tests, code reviews and documented architecture cut the regression rate and keep your system maintainable by any team — not just ours.

Pick the right engagement model

Not sure where this project should start?

Fixed scope, dedicated team, or targeted specialist support — we'll talk through what fits your stage and constraints. No pressure, no obligation.

What we've built for European clients

Our strongest European reference is Palisis of Switzerland — two engagements, both documented.

Your Safeguards

The questions that come before the signature

Code ownership, data location and exit capability are settled before the project — not when things get uncomfortable.

Your code is yours

Full IP transfer, fixed in the contract. The source code lives in your repository — not ours. From the first commit, not from the final invoice.

No lock-in

We build on widely adopted open-source technologies, document architecture and operations, and hand over a runbook. Another team must be able to take over — that is the standard we build to.

You choose the data location

Development, test and production environments in Swiss or EU regions. Access is logged; data processing is contractually governed under revDSG and GDPR.

Audited processes

ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, SOC 2 Type II audited. We share the reports during procurement.

Technology

Languages, frameworks & tools

We work with the widely adopted technologies your team already knows — or help you choose the right stack for your size. Deliberately no niche technology you'll struggle to hire for later.

FAQ

Common questions about custom software development

The points that come up in every procurement process — answered up front.

How do you price a custom software project?

Two models. For well-bounded work with a clear goal we quote a fixed price after a no-charge scoping phase. For ongoing product development we charge a monthly team rate based on composition. Both in CHF or EUR, with a monthly effort statement. We deliberately quote a range rather than a single figure — and tell you as soon as anything moves toward the upper end.

Who owns the source code and intellectual property?

You do — fully, and from the first commit. The IP transfer is fixed in the contract and the code lives in your repository. We retain no licences, no usage rights and no reusable components from your project.

Where is our data stored and processed?

You decide. Development, test and production environments can run in Swiss or EU regions of AWS, Azure and GCP. Data processing is contractually governed under revDSG and GDPR, and access is logged. Where FINMA requirements apply, we align the controls accordingly.

How does collaboration work across timezones?

Your contact and contracting partner is in Switzerland. The engineering teams work from Udaipur and Pune, with working hours overlapping CET core hours — enough for daily coordination, demos and same-day reviews. Meetings and documentation in German or English, whichever suits your team.

What happens if we end the engagement?

You receive the code, the documentation, the infrastructure definition and an operations runbook — plus a handover phase in which we onboard your internal or new team. We build on widely adopted technologies so that switching remains technically possible and is never blocked by architecture choices.

Do you work alongside an existing in-house team?

Yes — that is the more common case. Our engineers work in your repositories, your ticketing system and your review process. Whether as added capacity inside your team or as a separate squad with a clear area of ownership is decided during scoping.
